1. About Us

Verde & Shine (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a home care and lifestyle services company registered in England and Wales. Our registered address is 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX. VAT number: 509 7367 63.

2. Services

We provide residential cleaning, specialist care, and lifestyle services across select postcodes in London Zones 1–3. All services are subject to availability and our operating hours.

3. Payments

All payments must be made in full at the time of booking unless the “pay in person” cash option has been selected. Please note that we do not currently accept in-person card payments, though we aim to introduce this option soon.

If you choose the “pay in person” option, the site will still require your card details to secure the booking. No charges will be made to your card unless the booking is cancelled without sufficient notice or if the allocated Cleaning Associate or Service Provider is unable to access the property to carry out the service at the confirmed booking time.

All prices include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

4. Cancelling Your Booking

You can cancel your booking at least 48 hours before the scheduled start time at no charge and will receive a full refund within five working days of the cancellation.

If you have an account, you can cancel directly through your profile. For guest or one-off bookings, please email verdeandshinelondon@gmail.com to request cancellation, or cancel via Contact Us.

• 48+ hours’ notice: Full refund within five working days.
• 24–48 hours’ notice: 50% of the booking total will be charged, with the remaining 50% refunded to the original payment card within five working days.
• Under 24 hours’ notice: The full booking total is non-refundable, except in exceptional circumstances (e.g. emergencies or events beyond anyone’s control). In such cases, please contact us by email as soon as possible. An additional £10 late cancellation fee will also be applied to the original payment card.

Please note that a different cancellation policy applies to any purchased plans, e.g. ‘V&S Signature Care — Recurring Cleaning’.

5. Rescheduling Your Booking

You may reschedule your booking up to 24 hours before the confirmed start time at no cost (except ‘Immediate Shine’ last-minute bookings).

If you wish to reschedule less than 24 hours before the start time, 50% of the total cost will be added to your final booking fee.

6. Service Quality & Access

Please ensure access to the property or space at the agreed time. If our team cannot access the location within 10 minutes of the service start time, the booking may be treated as a late cancellation and the additional £10 fee will be applied to the original payment card.

We always aim to deliver high-quality service but cannot be held liable for delays caused by events beyond our control (e.g. severe transport issues, extreme weather, or emergencies).

7. Our Associates

All Cleaning Associates are personally selected, fully vetted, DBS-checked, and insured. We carry comprehensive public liability insurance. Associates are not employees of the client.

8. Liability

Verde & Shine is not responsible for loss or damage to items that are fragile, not securely stored, or not disclosed prior to the service. Our liability for any proven loss or damage is limited to the total amount paid for the affected booking.

Any claim for damage must be reported within 24 hours of the service.

9. Satisfaction Guarantee

If you are not satisfied with any aspect of our service, please contact us within 24 hours. We will arrange a complimentary revisit to address your concerns.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this website is the property of Verde & Shine and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

11. Policy Updates

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available on this page, and continued use of our services indicates acceptance of any changes.

12. Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting your personal data and respecting your privacy in compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018, and the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025.

Any information you provide will be used solely for the purposes stated and handled securely. We will never sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing or commercial gain.

We only collect and process data that is necessary, and you have the right to access, amend, or request deletion of your personal information at any time in line with current UK data protection laws.

By using our platform, you consent to this Privacy Policy and the responsible handling of your data in accordance with the UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, and the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025.
